Empowering Women Entrepreneurs in India
May 10, 2025
Women entrepreneurs in India have made tremendous strides in recent years. With the rise of digital platforms and government initiatives supporting women in business, more women are breaking free from traditional societal norms to become successful business owners.
One of the key challenges women face is access to capital, but organizations like the National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD) and the Women Entrepreneurship Platform (WEP) are providing much-needed funding and mentorship.
Success stories like Falguni Nayar (Nykaa) and Richa Kar (Zivame) serve as inspiration. However, obstacles remain, including lack of gender equality and patriarchal mindsets.
